If you are a Clay Aiken fan already from his American Idol days or just someone who appreciates a great signing voice, you need look no further than this new album, "On my Way Here". Say what you want about his personal life, the man has got a great set of pipes and shows on this new album the depth of his vocal ability. You won't be disappointed with Clay's new album. He is one of the best vocal artists around.

I love every song on this album, especially Grace of God. I hope there's a video of it soon on here. There are a lot of great YouTube videos for the song.

Best album out this year. This guy can really sing, beautiful voice. So strange to hear uptempo songs like Ashes and Falling sung by someone who can really sing. Thats a rarity, one I really like. The musicians on this album combined with this voice make a beautiful combination, Album has music for everyone, thats what I love the most.

In rating the album On My Way Here, I think it's important to first look at the album as a whole. This album is very unique and has different types of music, something for anyone to enjoy and appreciate. From ballads to uptempo songs, it is a great selection.

Specifically, I enjoy the mix of styles and the variety of tempos. Clay's voice is the common thread of course to each song, bringing the sounds together in a distinctive way.

The songs that stand out to me are On My Way Here (the flowing rhythm that sets the stage), Lover All Alone (reflective tune written by Clay), Everything I Don't Need (a fun surprise, new recorded style for Clay) and Where I Draw the Line (uptempo, love to sing and move to song). I love the themes of each song and the way they draw you in with thought and action. All the songs on the album are exquisite in setting the stage in showing how people can progress from one life experience to another.

Clay has grown tremendously in his ability to present and interpret his life into interesting and meaningful ways. If you allow it, these songs can have you singing, dancing and reflecting as well as loving each moment listening to that amazing voice.

Thank you, Clay, for a part of your heart and soul. It's a gift to have this album from you.
