This is fast becoming one of my favorite CDs. Brendan James has a great voice, and yes, the quality of his voice does remind me a bit of James Taylor. But his lyrical, narrative song writing is what made me a fan -- he really speaks to me at this stage of my life. His music is soothing and calming, yet somehow energizing (not depressive). And the unplugged sound of the CD is perfect for repeated plays. Highly recommended.
