Chris Cornell's lyrics really give you a feeling of security. If you're sad this song is a song that will help ease those emotions, it will let you let out all your tears. Which is great, because Chris included so much emotion in this song and in the lyrics that it makes you feel like you're not alone. This song is fantastic in my own personal opinion.

Ive always loved this song,but did not pay any attention to the words. I recently found the body of my friend who accidently overdosed. A few days later when the shock wore off, I was driving home and put this cd in and the words of Like a stone reminded me of finding my friend. It now holds a special place in my heart
