I agree that a bit more spacifics on how exatly Christ can deliver anyone from sin and dispare, But I think perhaps it was left vague purposfully. Christ's healing is as effective as a person wants it to be. In my work with the UCC I've had success and failure bringing folks into the fold (one who looks amazingly like the young drug addict). People I think will succeed ultimitly fail, not through they're lack of faith or love of Jesus but simply because addiction is SO difficult to overcome. Differant people are helped by Christ's love differantly. That may be why it was left vague in the video.

I was drawn in by the images of the forlorn people struggling with addictions. Obviously they are not at the glittering end of the good life. The image of the cross in the outstretched arms of a hobo suggests the cross as a solution, but I was hoping for a bit more in the ending that resolved the question of the downtrodden: Just how will Christ uplift this suffering sinner? Hopefully someone who has not experienced the answer in their life will be led to a rejuvenating, saving discovery of Christ's power. This video might surve as an intro to the kingdom.
