I had seen this video once and had to watch it once more to see if it was what I remembered it to be and it was... It is tooooo sad. I hate it.

This is the song that got me on modest mouse. This on of the most unique video I have ever seen This band will be inducted into the roock and roll hall of fame. If the continue to come out with great songs. But un til that happens they will be one my favorite bands.

Once again another great song from a band that really hasnt gotten its due over the past few years.

Its true, this is my VERY FIRST review of someone other than my own music. I completely enjoyed both the song and the vid. I gave it a "4" rating, saving a 5 only for the next "Dark Side of the Moon" or "Who's Next," who's company Modest Mouse fits right in with. Their top-notch music video and song with it's blazing, driven guitar riffs and kick a$$ vocals take you on a cool unexpected fishing excursion. Coming from an old-school backround, "Float On" kind of reminded me of a modern Steve Miller Band meets Billy Joel, which is a total compliment in my book!
